Expert Witness Profiler® was founded by Jim Robinson and Myles Levin, two of the best recognized authorities on expert witness research and location in the United States.
Combined they have over four decades of experience researching experts. Mr. Robinson and Mr. Levin were two of the co-authors of "Finding and Researching Experts and Their Testimony" (www.expertwitnesswhitepaper.com), now considered to be the definitive resource on the subject.
The research team is comprised of over 25 legal professionals specially trained to use advanced research tools and techniques to locate difficult to find information about expert witnesses.

Jim Robinson is an attorney, past Education Chair for the California State Bar Law Practice Management and Technology section, and founder of JurisPro Inc. (www.JurisPro.com), a free resource to find and research expert witnesses in over 10,000 areas of expertise.
Prior to founding JurisPro and co-founding Expert Witness Profiler®, Mr. Robinson specialized in construction defect, personal injury, and business litigation for both plaintiffs and defendants. |
Mr. Robinson is a member of the California Bar Association, American Bar Association, Defense Research Institute, Los Angeles County Bar Association, and is technical support member for expert witnesses for the Consumer Attorneys of California. Mr. Robinson is a professional speaker, and has written extensively on expert witnesses, expert witness issues, legal research, and the Internet.
He has been a keynote speaker at several conferences including programs on "Finding and Researching Expert Witnesses," "Using the Internet for Legal and Investigative Research", and "Google for Lawyers."

Myles Levin first developed an interest in expert witness research in 1999, shortly after founding MDEX Online, Inc., a full service medical legal consulting firm and the holding company of the nationally recognized The Daubert Tracker (www.dauberttracker.com).
Himself a former testifying vocational expert and principal in a litigation consulting company, he became aware of the significance and implications that expert witness due diligence and "gatekeeping" had for all participants in the litigation process- attorneys, experts and judges alike. |
He came to realize, however, that there was no central repository of information and documents concerning challenges to expert testimony, despite the fact that "gatekeeping" activity was often a "linchpin" in successful or failed litigation. After validating his concepts with the litigation and forensic community, he developed a team of database programmers, web developers and legal researchers and launched the Daubert Tracker in August of 2002.
Since then, the product has been received very favorably and has received significant attention in state bar association journals, legal newspapers and from attorney and expert associations. Mr. Levin holds a masters degree from Northwestern University and a bachelors from the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill.
